Similar to Omaha Hi/Lo Poker and Texas Hold’em, Omaha, required its 2 to 10 players to create the ideal five-card combination from a total of 9 cards.The strongest combination wins the pot . Because the 9 cards are made up of 5 community cards and 4 hand cards , the resulting combinations are stronger than those in other Poker Games.

How to play the game

The players to the left of the Dealer start the game by posting the blinds . The player on the Dealer’s left posts a small blind and the player on the Small Blind’s left places a huge blind. Four pocket cards are dealt to all player .  In the 1st round, the player to the Huge Blind’s left plays 1st and can either Fold/ Bet/ Raise.The flop is dealt in the 2nd round ,  a round of betting follows and the players can either Check/ Fold/ Call/ Raise. The turn is dealt inthe 3rd round . Then there is another betting round . The River is dealt, this starts the last round of betting . After the betting ends, the remaining players, use 2 out of their 4 pocket cards and 3 community cards to create the strongest five-card  possible hand.

Tips:
You can use the following strategies to improve your winning chances :

  1. You ought look for the high hands only so watch out for the low cards ;
  2. Flushes and straights are very basic here due to the 5 community cards that you can select .

Omaha Hi/Lo Poker

Omaha High/Low is a common variation of Omaha Poker, is also known as Omaha/8.The lowest hand and the highest hand split in halp the pot in this game . The low hand must contain an eight or better, and pairs.. For these 2 hands you can use different cards , and it is possible to win both the low and the high  pot. If there is no qualifying low hand, then the high hand wins the entirely pot. As in Omaha, you must use 2 cards from your hand and 3 cards from the community cards, but you can use a different 2 cards for your high and low hands.
